华纳兄弟影业宣布Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince《哈里·波特与混血王子》将推迟到2009年7月17日上映，以取得更好的票房成绩。不过据统计，三部在圣诞前上映的《哈里·波特》系列取得了9.16亿美元的全球票房收入，而两部在夏季上映的全球票房收入为8.66亿美元。同时华纳兄弟影业在/film网站上发布了5张《哈里·波特与混血王子》的最新高清剧照，而Blogwarts网站也公布了4张剧照。
